Transport for NSW thanks the community for their patience while construction took place.

Project information

Background

When consulted as part of the Milton Ulladulla Traffic Study in 2018, the local community raised concerns about pedestrian safety and accessibility between the highway and Wason Street.

Traffic lights will provide a safer way for pedestrians to cross the highway, better connecting the town and making businesses and services easier to access.

This work is part of a 20 year plan to improve safety on the Princes Highway for all transport users and make communities more liveable. For more information on the 20 year plan, visit the Roadmap to 2024 website.

Features

Intersection improvements will include the removal of the current zebra crossing, the installation of traffic signals, changes to the pedestrian area and ramps and line marking on the Princes Highway and Wason Street. An extended kerb will be constructed on the north eastern corner of the intersection to increase pedestrian safety.
